The DT48 is the original 'hi-fi' headphone, first sold in 1937 and is still considered the best headphones for location recordists! These puppies have a frequency responce of 16 - 20,000Hz.

These cans are now supplied with what I guess sound recordists since the beginning of time have been waiting for... A single sided coiled cable that is terminated in a 3.5mm mini-jack with a 1/4" adaptor!

The DT100 is also popular for its comfort. Probably better suited for listening purposes than for recording monitoring, say for Autocue operator etc.
